Our Vision
CASSI has recently reviewed its Mission Statement. We felt that we needed to make a statement which best described our experience as a service as well as our future goals.
We feel that the following words best explain who we are and where we are heading as a support service:
"CASSI provides quality support to enrich the lives of people with disabilities."
This statement shows a number of things about CASSI.
The first is that we are continuing our commitment to supporting people with a disability; that our services will always aim for quality in what we offer; that our services and support are based on the individual needs of each person we work with; that we know each person with a disability we support will express his or her needs in diverse ways; and finally each person we support will have a cultural or community context that CASSI will respect.
In addition to that Mission CASSI has expressed its vision as a service provider in three ways. Our first vision describes how the service will enhance its quality by focussing on the individual, service users and staff:
CASSI provides a secure environment with high quality support to enable individuals to achieve their highest potential.
The next part of our vision is a description of CASSI as a confident organisation with a plan to expand its services to be able to support more people with a disability:
CASSI takes all opportunities to broaden our business base within a well managed framework.
The third part of our vision is an emphatic declaration that quality will continue to be at the core of the work we do as a support service:
CASSI is a quality service based on the principles of continuous improvement.
CASSI is clearly an organisation that is responsive to the individual needs and culture of people with disabilities. We are also an organisation that wishes to offer our services and support to more people; while at the same time being sure that our service’s quality will be strengthened. CASSI is a service with its eye on the future and with an understanding of our heritage.
